This document outlines the address expectations in Estonia and should be used as a supplement to the global guidelines.
Main takeaway points for Estonian addresses:
• Estonian addresses in some areas contain a region. This is a mandatory address component if it is part of the official address as found on either an governmental/postal source or in case of a POI, if it is included in the address on the official website or claimed and active social media page.
The chart below illustrates the general relation between address components in Estonia, as well as the associated checkbox in the rating interface.
The table below should be used to check the required address components for results in Search & AC:
* If retuned, the postal code should be complete (5 digits) and correct. See section 6.1.6 Postal Code in the
Global Guidelines for AC.
** Country is considered essential if the result is outside Estonia. The exception is in AC for POI/Business results where the Country is not expected (see the Global Guideline for AC, chapter 7.1. Business/POI Suggestion
*** For POI’s, the term “Official Address” is the address that is listed on the POI’s official website or if no website is present, the official, managed social media page.

The classifications for POI’s in Estonia will show in English or Russian. This should not be a cause for demotion in the ratings, as this is expected behaviour. Please only demote if the classification that is shown in English or Russian is incorrect for the POI in the result.
