Mistake 1
Incorrect relevance ratings for distance.
a) Missing real world results that Try Rating does not return.
b) Demoting the closest address because it is not a real world address.
c) Demoting a real world address when there is a closer nonexistent address returned on Try rating.
Solution:
Review section 8.1.1 of the guidelines

Mistake 2:
Incorrect relevance ratings for prominence.
Solution:
Review section 4.3.3 and 4.3.4 of the guidelines: Prominence and Distance vs. Prominence.
The prominence of a feature refers to its popularity, including the number of people visiting and media resources referencing it.
- Prominence can vary based on the test locale and even local knowledge.
- Consider the following list to get a general idea of prominence, ordered from high to low.
o The feature is known internationally
o The feature is known nationally
o The feature is known in the region/state
o The feature is known locally
o The feature may not even be known locally - Suggestions with high prominence may still be relevant even when far away.
- Suggestions with low prominence may not be as relevant even when close.
- Once you’ve decided how relevant a result is, consider the suggestion in the context of all possible real world suggestions.
- Each suggestion is given a rating based on prominence and distance to the location intent.
