How to check if an Address exists?

1.Check Correios https://buscacepinter.correios.com.br to verify Street Name, Neighborhood and Postal Code.
2.Check street imagery to see if the number can be seen – you should browse through old street imagery if the current one is not showing any useful information.
3.Check IBGE website https://censo2010.ibge.gov.br/cnefe/ to verify if the street number is listed at that street.
4.Do a regular web search to see if any business or POI is returned at that address.
5.Do a regular web search to see if the locality where the address is located at has an official map (to find the official website of the locality, search for [Locality Name gov br]).
6.Make a decision:
•If the street number can be seen in street imagery, rate address and pin normally;
•If IBGE lists the street number, but there’s no street imagery or the number cannot be found on it and there’s no other official resource where it can be verified, rate address normally, but Can’t Verify for the pin;
•An example of other official resources is when there’s an official website for a business located at an address and on street view one cannot see the number, but can see that that business is located there – it indicates where the pin should be landing
•If there is no evidence that that number exists, it does not appear in street imagery, web search does not return any business at that address and the number cannot be found on IBGE website, rate as Address does not exist;
•If there are contradictory or ambiguous information, rate it as Can’t Verify.

If we find that the address does not exist, you will find one of the following scenarios with the appropriate rating.

•Response 1: TryRating will return the closest verified address. Rate relevance as Excellent.
•Response 2: TryRating will return the same address specified in the query. Rate relevance as Excellent and address as Incorrect – Address does not exist. The pin will be rated Can’t Verify.
•Response 3: TryRating will return the street without street number, which should be given a relevance rating of Acceptable.
