Note: Research involves verifying the data through an official source. If no

official resources can be found, rate according to consensus from multiple

reliable sources.

Reliable resources include:

Articles in primary publications (newspapers or similar publications that do their own reporting)
Crowdsourced user review sites

If you can’t verify the data correct or incorrect, rate Can’t Verify.

Use official resources like businesses’ official websites or claimed social media, national post websites and government websites whenever possible to verify data accuracy (2.1.1 of Guidelines)

Log out of Social Media!!

When conducting research during the rating process, please ensure you are logged out of any social media accounts. This is important for consistency reasons, as you should only rate based on what you can see as a user who is not logged into any accounts. We understand there are situations where the only reliable source to verify data is on a social media page that requires login. In such case, you should rate Can’t Verify. This applies to all task types, unless specified otherwise in the Guidelines.
