Name Accuracy- Partially Correct (GL 4.1.2)

A Partially Correct name differs from the official versions but is still able to be recognised by the user.

As outlined in GL 8.1.1 Research Expectations always perform research to determine the POI category’s dominant identity prior to rating it’s accuracy and fit. Research and ratings should be based on the following approved sources:

DO NOT use categories listed by SERPS, maps services or crowdsourced user review sites as these may not be accurate and may be assigned following different rules than we are to follow based on our available categories for this evaluation.

Pin Accuracy (GL 9)

_• The location of the pin should accurately reflect the POI’s real world result. Per section 9.3 Single Rooftop POI’s Best Available Evidence we want to utilise the best available evidence to confirm the exact location of the POI. If additional resources are available we want to utilise these.

_• These additional resources include reliable online map resources both standard and hybrid views, street imagery, official venue maps and directories and official government maps as outlined in GL 9.2.1 Pin Resources.

When a pin falls:

If there is street imagery or other strong evidence available for the exact location of the POI, in order to be rated:

Correct: The pin should land on the correct portion of the rooftop for that POI.

Approximate: The pin falls anywhere on the rooftop other than the Correct location or falls within the boundary of the shared property including the parking lot.

Wrong: The pin falls outside the boundary of the shared property.

Next Door: The Next Door rating is not available for shared spaces (See Section 9.2.4).

Hours Accuracy (GL 10)

When rating POI hours, it is very important to verify the returned hours using official resources only.

The returned URL is the correct location specific webpage for this POI, which clearly lists its “Standard Operating Hours”. A comparison of the returned hours and the website shows that the hours do not match, as the website lists the POI as being open from 08:30 until 17:30 Sunday to Wednesday and 08:30 until 21:00 on Thursday and from 08:00-18:00 on Friday, while the returned hours are different. Therefore, the hours should be rated as Incorrect, and the hours correction should be listed as per the official webpage

Address Accuracy (GL 5)

Address expectations will vary among POI types so always double check the address expectations for each POI and the CSGL. When rating for address accuracy it is important to catch any small discrepancies between the listing and the official address.
