Major Road Misalignments can occur in three ways:
is greater than 100m long, the route line must indicate that it is entering the turn channel at an appropriate place in the route.
Example:
In this example, we can see that the user is being directed to take an exit off the highway.
The right lane is a turn channel separated from the rest of the highway by road markings that include non-lane space. Using the ruler tool in the rating app, we can see that the length of the non-lane space is more than 100m long, and the route line does not enter the channel until far too late. This is a Major Road Misalignment.
There is a misalignment with the turn channel but less than 100 meters at step 1 (pin 49.762588,4.647738), hence not considered a MNE but a non MNE issue.
Tip : Always use a tool to measure distances. Start measuring from the beggining of the turn channel and stop when the line become solid and make the turn illegal
