About use of third-party website with OFFICIAL badge
It is allowed to treat a third-party website as an official website only when it meets all of criteria below.
For example, Tabelog can be considered as an official website only if the restaurant doesn’t have any official website/SNS and is a member of Tabelog （食べログ店舗会員）.
What is食べログ店舗会員? https://owner.tabelog.com/home/registration/
Tabelog is a crowdsourced user review site but if the restaurant owner becomes a member of the web site, only the restaurant owner can edit the information. In this case, Tabelog’s information is more reliable for rating the accuracy of opening hours/address/phone numbers etc.
How to indicate if the restaurant is a member of the web site:
There is a tiny official badge （公式） above the restaurant name. Please make sure the official badge is present when referring Tabelog as an official source.
When there is no official website/SNS, consider Hotpepper as an official website only with an inserted (or updated) 店長のおすすめ料理 “Owner’s recommend” section.There is no official badge on Hotpepper, so in order to differentiate if the page is updated by the restaurant owner or not, please see the below images.
