This document lists recommended resources to be used across all task types including: Map Search, Aut0complete, Address Verification, Routing, Pedestrian, POI Evaluation.

Research involves verifying the data through an official source or 3 unofficial reliable sources listed below. Do not use random unreliable sources to verify

data accuracy!

Use official resources like businesses’ official websites, national postal service websites, and government website whenever possible (GL section 2.1.1 Research Expectation).

Note: Comments are mandatory for any result relevance rating of Good or below and for any data issues not rated Correct/Perfect and should explain the reasons for all rating demotions. Be sure to include sources: if you find incorrect information in a result, your comment should include the correct information and its source. Please use URL shortener for longer source links.

If you can’t verify the data correct or incorrect, rate Can’t Verify.

Business/POI Results

Helpful resources to research Name and Address Accuracy:

Note: In Polish market it is necessary to always verify the postal code against official postal service (http://kody.poczta-polska.pl/) for all business/POI results. Even if the address returned in Tryrating matches the address on the official website and all mandatory components are present!

For verifying data accuracy for the Business/POI results you should check the official website (contact/store locator page) as a primary resource (always a first step!).
Use other official resources to confirm an address when a business/POI has no official website, or official website does not provide a full address, or if there is a conflict with the address in the result.
Social media sites claimed by the business/POI and updated within the last 6 months
Street Imagery (e.g. Street View)
Government registry CEIDG (sole proprietors) (https://prod.ceidg.gov.pl/ceidg/ceidg.public.ui/Search.aspx)
When a Business/POI’s name or address components cannot be verified with an official resource above, please use the reliable sources listed below, to determine name and address accuracy.

Note: To use some of the business directory website a specific number is needed in order to find the correct business: REGON/NIP/KRS if you are using this numbers to check the data, please provide it in the comment with the link ^to the website you used. These numbers can be found when performing basic online research.

If after careful research, you determine that a result is permanently closed/non-

existent please indicate this by selecting checkbox: Business/POI is closed or does not exist.

Helpful resources to verify Address Accuracy:

If after careful research, you determine that a result address does not exist indicate this by rating address as Incorrect – Address does not exist.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When conducting research during the rating process,

please ensure you are logged out of any social media accounts. This is important for consistency reasons, as you should only rate based on what you ^^  .  ,  v^

can see as a user who is not logged into any accounts. We understand there are situations where the only reliable source to verify data is on a social media page that requires login. In such case, you should rate Can’t Verify. This applies to all task types, unless specified otherwise in the Guidelines.
