•Every result should have two localities. This can be a sub-locality and a locality.
•Even if official website does not list a sub-locality the result address must have it.
•If the sub-locality and locality are the same both should be listed in the result address.
Postal Code
•Postal code is mandatory and can be either the box code or the street code for business and POI results
• For street result then postal code must only be the street code
with postal code checked
•If the official website has a corner address the result address can contain this same corner address and be rated Correct
•If the official website has a corner address the result address contains one street with no street number then we rate Incorrect – Country Specific Issue
•If the official website has a corner address the result address contains one street with a street number then we research and
•If the street number belonged to the result we rate Correct
•If it belongs to some other entity we rate Incorrect – Street Number
•If we are unable to determine if it belongs to the result or another entity we rate Can’t Verify
If the official website does not contain a street number and the result address does then we follow same steps as above
Corner–Address accuracy Examples
•Use official source and postal authority to verify data accuracy
•If no official source is available use only reliable sources like TripAdvisor or a claimed yelp page. Websites that are not
updates, or do not have any reviews or Phone directories are unreliable and should not be used.
